IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: If Tax-Aid did not receive all of your tax documents by March 31, 2024, we will not be able to complete your tax return by the filing deadline. You will need to request an extension from the IRS here: https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/extension-of-time-to-file-your-tax-return. |
An extension of time to file your return does not grant you any extension of time to pay your taxes. You should estimate and pay any owed taxes by your regular deadline to help avoid possible penalties. |
Tax-Aid volunteers are here to help prepare your taxes! Just download the tax questionnaire, fill it out as best you can and then email it to us. TIP: Remember to send over any other tax documents (like W2s, 1099, etc) so we have everything we need.
Virtual Tax ServiceIf you feel more comfortable dropping off your tax documents in person, we have options. Bring your tax documents, fill out our tax questionnaire and our volunteers will take care of the rest. We’ll call you when your tax return is ready.
Drop-OffSometimes it’s nice to have in-person help with your taxes. Visit one of our tax site events and a professional volunteer will help prepare your return.
In-Person HelpIf Tax-Aid already has your questionnaire and documents, you can check the status of your tax return.
